----Chris,,, That second pic is really good. Was that from back then? It almost seems too good for an old pic. I moved to the Chicago area in 1976. Hinsdale to be exact. My boss's buddy was Billy Jacobs (RIP) who owned Bill Jacobs Chevrolet so I was down in Joliet many times and don't remember Gordon Pontiac. I wonder if it was already gone?....Bill S

This Reef Turquoise 1966 GTO that I once owned made it into several magazines back in the early 80’s.
It was also used for the box art of a Revell model. I packed all my belongings into the trunk and back seat of this car and headed west from my hometown Springfield, Illinois to the SF Bay Area in 1978. It started out as a 4BBL. Automatic but I had it changed to a Tri-Power 4 speed a few years after living in California. That’s what a lot of us did back in the day. Today, it’s all about Factory Original Survivor cars for me.
