Don't know the seller. Never met him. Just sent a few messages through ebay.
I still think the guy is legit. He added this language to the current auction that was NOT in the previous auction: "IF YOU NEED TO TALK TO WIFE BEFORE YOU BID DO SO OR HUSBAND SPOUSE WHOEVER DONT BE ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE HOW BID AND CANT BUY…………" I would bet he had a non paying bidder. I could be wrong. I see big money being asked for Tri Five Chevies these days, but don't see those big numbers actually changing hands. I think the market is soft compared to the later 60's through 71 muscle cars. I would have to buy this one if it were Tropical Turquoise with a white top. That's what I had in HS.
