Thanks guys, I actually found a nos fender for it locally last year, so I am set on metal. Not sure if I’m going to look for GM cutoffs to fix the weak areas on the floor, or go repop.
John, hey I remember you from chitownracing. To your question, this fender is too far gone IMO as it’s rusty at both the front edge and rear dogleg area where they typically get bad. Just not worth the trouble! I think I paid $500 for the NOS piece so it’s a no brainer for me. |

$500 for an NOS fender ???? I'm going to have you start finding my parts ...
![]() Some repop floor pans are a pretty good match to original and can be blended in quite well. I can't imagine finding 1st gen Camaro/Firebird pans without buying a whole rust free body.
