Why ? Because of the inline fuse holder being 1979 up style? Someone could have added that?
I’m sure Hurst used different supply vendors for parts or solenoids, that solenoid is the stamped style skinny one, although I can’t see “ Hurst” stamped in it, I’m sure there where many different designs?
If you search this site for - “Hurst Roll Control” by Duece Registry someone states on page 2 that the earlier style used the skinny stamped solenoid- “ no decal “, and the stubby style with the decal is late 70,s, early 80,s. ?
Thats the style solenoid & switch I remember when I bought my 1st roll control around 1972
