I gutted an old Delco that finally bit the dust and put a Braile battery inside. Saved some weight, gained some cranking amps, and the two I have rarely need much time on the trickle charger. They can sit for a month or two at a time, I put the trickle charger on and they are good in about an hour. Just to compare, the Duracell in my Bimmer after setting for one month, takes two days to bring all the way back. So, if I am not driving it, I normally put the trickle charger on it after about a week. Don't even get me started on the AMG, with two batteries that I have to keep a tender on if I am not driving it at least once a week.
