I seldom watched him either but he was certainly a unique individual w/ his man on a mission way of doing things.
No Idea whether he went through with it or not but five or so years back, King was into Cryonics which is when you're frozen at death to save your brain for reuse in the future.
Some save the whole body, others just the head but from what I understand, the idea is future beings will have the ability to rebuild their frozen remains w/ mind/memory intact, unlike clones or natural offspring w/ genes only.
