I've been cranking away in the shop in the last few days........
One would think the retired parts gut could order the right u joints for the half shafts.........guess not. They turned out nice after the soak in Evaporust. ![]() Heater box is rebuilt.... ![]() ![]() Strung the rear wiring harness and installed the new fuel tank.... ![]() ![]() Pulled the pedal carrier to rebuild that.... ![]() Packaged up the trans to ship it to Crash.... ![]() Body build number written under the old firewall insulation..... ![]() I rest easier every time I install new wiring harness's. This thing was so brittle! ![]() |

The machine shop is wasting no time. The block only required a hone (at .030 still), the crank only required polishing. I went with new rods and pistons that will get me in the 10.5:1 neighborhood for compression. We will see once the heads are done as to exactly where compression lands. Certainly, pump gas friendly with the fuel injection.

In between working on a couple of new cars I got in, I managed to start rewiring the front of the car and clean the headlight buckets. I do not know how these T3's are dated......can these be original?
