The inside "scoop":
"This was also in the days when NHRA couldn't keep up with the factory part numbers. When Jim wanted a hood scoop for the Catalina he got a Ford truck scoop and put a Pontiac part number on it, and it was now a 'stock' scoop for the Catalinas and Tempests, too." ![]() [I'm told they also released a GM part number for the "hole" in the hood! ![]()
