----I remember Palmer Pontiac, Cadillac as it was in Wellesley where I lived with my Mom, but I don't remember seeing many performance types out of there. I would have only been there up until 1966 though. I think a friend of mine ordered a 65 GTO convert out of Thompson Pontiac. Pretty well loaded up 4-speed, tri-power that fairly early on got the Royal Pontiac Bobcat treatment. Car was fast! I rode in it two days after he got it and he had never driven a stick before. He thought the car was kind of slow, so I was actually the first person to step hard enough on the throttle to activate the outer carbs. I remember it being quite a surprise for a couple of dumb kids!......Bill S
