That is correct; and how it is always pronounced in Oklahoma, with the emphasis on Chick. Long "a" at the end.
Always find it amusing when OU is playing in a nationally televised game, and one of the announcers mis pronounces it when introducing a young man fron "Chick' uh shah" with shah rhyming with the "shah" or Iran.
