I have my e24 ‘84 633 CSI pending with BAT now. Wait time from acceptance of car to going live has been about 2 weeks. I’ve heard it can be 2-4 weeks. BAT writes the description for you - you’re only filling out a questionnaire. Take great pics, the more the better. Videos are also important. $99 starts the process For an entry level auction. $250 gets you pro photos from a BAT commissioned photographer. There is another class of auction for higher end cars. In terms of fake bids, let’s not be naive. If it happens on eBay it will happen every where. BAT does charge a % of sale price after the bid is initiated to deter fake bidding but it’s only a deterrent. The two min reset of the auction clock is great for buyer!

The fee structure on BaT is pretty fair IMO. $250 for pro photos is a no brainer if you aren’t a decent photographer to begin with.
