The owner of the car is Alex Manz the former president of the Mid Ohio Camaro Club. The story is 100% true. The car was restored with a glide because the people doing the restoration could not find parts. for the TD.
Alex stepped up and did the heavy lifting to fix the original transmission. Yes $3000 was the cost. There is a devastating personal back story to the reasons for the sale that I would not wish on any member of this board, so why not just take a breath before you guys bash the car or debate if you think it is desirable or rare?
