Its strange that a 1200 mile car would have non original spark plug wires and no shielding, or is that because it was radio delete it didnt have that

As far as the dirt and oil; 1) It's well known locally that longest storage was in a working farm barn, a very dusty dirty environment. 2)Spraying of oil(s) on stored items was and is a accepted way to protect. Seen it more than few times myself. 3) A co-worker of his relayed that he basically carried something out of MACK TRUCKS in Hagerstown in his lunch box everyday. (a good source of lubricants and such). From what I've heard going back about 20 years when I first heard of it... 100% real local legend. |
