Sorry to read about the engine damage, but happy for you that you've already taken care of it and it seems better than ever.

I was WAY more upset about the stolen headers than the damaged motor....

I understand that. I've had vehicles and property stolen and the feeling of anger and violation don't ever completely go away. I have a very deep loathing of thieves.

Car looks great Chuck, love the Magazine Cover shot!
Crazy what searching these old CA Plates sometimes yields so always worth a whirl…
Ads below indicate TCA 186 Plates the originals also car traded back to Selling Dealer Stewart Chevrolet in ‘69, then on their lot for a few months.

OMG, Does that news paper clipping of the auto classified bring me back. We had so many cars to choose from, it's crazy.

If you haven’t cruised these below linked threads yet, first includes tons of mixed ads through the glory years w/ lots of know also sYc Member owned cars, second is Novas specifically w/ the last link being all Motion cars.

Thanks Tim! The funny thing is, I actually have a copy of this issue at the Long Beach Hi Performance Swap Meet a few years back!

Where are all of the '66 and '67 427 Chevelles? I remember seeing a few of them advertised in the 80's from Auto Trader magazines in South and North Carolina, but you never see them in the wild anymore. I'm sure they were all dealer specials, but I absolutely love the SS427 emblems on a '67 Chevelle, and really, Chevy should have made those from factory.
