VE Day...
Just got off the phone with one of my best friends...Marty Allen. Lives upstate in the Adirondacks...called to say hello, he is a WW2 vet...served in the 11th Airborne occupation force in Japan. He lived in a Japanese school house!
He is an author and had his own newspaper column for twenty years called; "To Make a Long Story Short"...amazing guy...he is my hero  The photo is me and Marty up at the camp on the West Canada...
