For what it's worth, I disagree with shutting disagreeable threads down. It goes with freedom of speech. Sometimes it isn't convenient or comfortable. Sometimes the truth about things shakes out in the end. If folks don't like reading the back and forth, which I truly can understand, they don't have to keep clicking on the link to read it.
This is an amazing car IMO and I've enjoyed reading about it.

Question: I thought that 15x7 ralleys were what came standard on COPO Chevelle. Were SS rims an option rather than the ralleys?

COPO 9566 used the 14" SS wheel and COPO 9562 used the 15" Rally that I think was part of 9737 sports car conversion. on 15" cars both of those COPO codes were on the BS lower left Mike |

The SS wheels were standard with this COPO Chevelle.
