At that point in time, the 1969 Trans Am was the best performance car Pontiac had ever built. Overall an excellent job, but as noted there's a few errors in the commentary. The Trans Am option was $1072, not $775 as stated in the video. Also, the "stacked gauges" were not exclusive to the Trans Am, any 1969 Firebird could be ordered with them.
One 1969 Trans Am was ordered with wire wheel covers, and it was a RAIV car, with a column shift automatic. Mike
