Wow, Great light shedding Paul! By comparing the vin pics, you can tell that the same "5" was copied and pasted over the "6". I've been using the BAT pics as reference for my restoration. Admired the car for its originality. It's a shame that someone would do this.
You can file a fraudulent report. I've never done this before, but since you did the groundwork, they may request your evidence to substantiate the claim.
