I think it's being missed by some that these cars are 1971-72 vehicles special-ordered by a Canadian dealership. In 1970 there was a Dart Swinger 340 but not officially after that. These cars in the article are the unofficial ones from 1971-72. John Brown gets it.

Strange the link you posted stated the old Teachers Pet was black at one time. Supposedly only 4 hardtops. The one I seen for sale was also a hardtop, black but red interior. IIRC the owner was the original owner. Also my discussion with the late Mr. Don Henderson Sr and Jr recall a lot more but not a widely known or advertized combo? Don was a Factory Ford racer at that time too. He is the sme Don Henderson who found, restored and documented the Mustang GT350 COUPE that till that time, EVERYONE said didn't exist. Only Carroll Shelby himself made people a believer and stated they did in fact make 6. Thats just what I was told from what I think or recall the OG owner of the car said or claimed and a factory racer from that time.
