Going over details of the car before the car gets stripped.
We have found an unusual amount of original grey primer on the firewall down to the toe-boards. Floor pan towards the rocker panels Gold Black and Grey overspray. Original transmission tunnel blackout. Rocker panel blackout over the original Olympic Gold Paint. Last edited by Nasblu; 01-20-2021 at 07:33 PM. |

Thank you for sharing William. I remember us discussing that car. It had the earliest body number and mine had the second lowest body number. Of the 10 OG Yenkos ....we have located 8 of them. The 2 unknown (whereabouts) cars are the Joseph Chevrolet car from Ohio and the Karen Chevrolet car from New Jersey. We also have body numbers for 7 of the 10. Of those 7 cars all of the body numbers are very close to each other.

So looking at the numbers it seems like my car has the second lowest body number of the 10 and the second lowest Vin number of the 10. And as the research goes on the lowest body number car the Hult car is gone .

The Cliff Ernst OG car that was the drag test car from Yenko was not the first car ...in fact it is towards the bottom of the list of 10. The misconception of it being the first car is only because it stayed at Yenko Chevrolet while all of the others were shipped to the network dealers earlier.

The order/shipping sheets are really interesting on the early cars...seeing some 01B cars not shipping until February.
