Another vote for Quanta, I have ran my L78 and L79 cars to 6K redline many times without issue.

Graeme: I had an alternator belt issue years ago from NAPA. The belt flipped over, upside down in the groove. I asked a mechanic friend of mine concerning the belt. He asked me if I had re-tensioned the belt after initially running it. I said no, I didn't know it was needed. I purchased another same belt from NAPA, re-tensioned it after some minimal usage ( a few days), and never had a problem since. Try it! He also did not like the cogged belt on the V side, but said the Top Cog belts were good! Let me know how this works out for you. Don.
