Danny, actually these BN stamped Clips are in correct for that application. I have original ones and they all have a triangle stamped on the back of them. Sometimes they're rubber coated sometimes they're not. This is the clip in the picture that you showed of wire temperature sensor holders on the valve covers of small blocks. I've sold quite a few. Let me see if I can find some more.

Yes I do know some were coated and some were not.
Just used that sample photo to show you the type of design.
