"What is the 270 HP 350?"

L-82 was 250 HP, maybe an honest mistake and the L-82 emblem was left off the hood, or it's the 190 HP base 350. Either way, the low miles make it a special car.

Question 73 Vette...

Definitely a cool low mileage car...

But why do all these Craigslist ads have the same negative tone???

--wilma

No trades / no money orders
I will not take a check so do not ask !!!!!
no shipping / I Will not hold it for you /
Obviously if you see this ad on craigslist it’s still available don’t ask that dumb question !!!
I do not need help selling this vehicle so don't ask !!!!
Asking price is $19,000
Where could you find a 73 Corvette with only 7500 miles
If you don't have cash
don't bother calling me !!

It's a pre-emptive strike in trying to deal with all the rustlers, cut throats, murderers, bounty hunters, desperados, mugs, pugs, thugs, nitwits, halfwits, dimwits, vipers, snipers, con men, Indian agents, Mexican bandits, muggers, buggerers, bushwhackers, hornswogglers, horse thieves, bull dykes, train robbers, bank robbers, a$$-kickers, ****-kickers, tire kickers - and Methodists - on Craigslist.

----It seems you have that handled, Keith!
---- Pretty neat Vette. some good options, including tilt wheel, deluxe interior, and good colors. Those are important options during the low HP years. Also, many, many Corvettes in this age range got really bad paint jobs right out of the factory. Dealer repaints under warrantee happened frequently. I did it on a brand new 75 convert I bought off the floor from Jack Douglas. They couldn't even do a decent white paint job.....SAD!......Bill S

I added "tire kickers" on my own.

I sorta got caught up in what I was doing...

Most of the cars I saw had a little dimple (or bare spot) right on the front tip of the bumper. We used to call it "the Corvette Kiss".
