another possibility is that this Chevelle was from Jack Douglass Chevrolet.
A Douglass converted 427 COPO may have had different placement of stripes and emblems even less consistent then the Yenko Chevrolet converted cars |

the red Yenko Chevelle with side pipes was posted on team chevelle.
It was said that the original owner brought it to the show. There were 2 pictures posted, this is the other and has a time stamp 9/22/2012 |

Just to add a bit more information about this car, I can confirm it was the original owner who brought it to the show. It was the Mid-America Chevelle Club show. The car has been around a few local shows since then and he has removed the side-pipes and a few other small modifications. I haven't seen it in a few years now but I've been told he still has it and has no intentions to sell. I also have some additional pictures of the car if anyone is interested.
