To answer a few questions. Heads have been repaired in the past. There are apparently some helicoils also. They are ported. Although beautiful now, they are used and were raced. Both heads are dated same.. matching set.

Hmmm -- pics of TA engine has different exhaust configuration then pictured heads ...

That is correct that they made straight exhaust also. In my research over the years, apparently they made a few different configurations of these heads. 3 that I know of
