Sox should be out on varmint patrol instead of in the cage? So, I guess that cat stays?
I hope your cats keep your property and more importantly your garages rodent free.

You are making impressive progress. I like the hay hatch door idea. I've got the pull down ladder to my garage loft and never liked the hole in the floor, especially after getting a good dose of paint fumes while painting upstairs. Always afraid to fall into the opening. A hatch like this would work perfect to block to ladder opening.
