All the numbers indicated were not that clear to me as they might've been for others so I ask what he was working on to try to help as I have a late 69. His title did not say anything about a COPO nor did it directly say big block. I'm sorry if you've all taken sport in what I was asking so I've removed the information I provided. Please continue this post without my assistance....Joe

It's all good on the small block / big block thing Gang.... anyone have some info regarding date codes they've seen on correct late September builds on these components?

291s on that l...have 4 or 5 of everything dated for that engine if needed 837s 9d 9e 9f 9h heads 9f 9I etc

Default Late 69 dated componenets

My brother Joe has an 09D dated X22 L78 RG Camaro from late 1969 with 6,000 original miles on it. I knew the original owners (2 brothers) that purchased it from Ed Stinn Chevrolet for street use & some drag racing. I know the second owner (who owned it from 1977-1998) who used it for street use only. My brother Joe is the third owner. The original motor has E 6 9 3919840 cylinder head castings. I'll have to check on the distributor date. I hope this helps. Don.
