Sadly, my dad lived just shy of 74 years, and never got to see his beloved Red Sox win it all. I have seen 4 championships now.

Sherri and I had a great time at game 4 last night. It was epic (although not as epic as game 3). We got home tonight just in time to see the first pitch on tv.

How fitting that the thug Machado makes the last out by swining at one in the dirt. Dirtiest player in the game. How is it that a pitcher gets suspended for intentionally throwing at a hitter, but Machado gets no discipline for intentionally stepping on a first baseman's foot, going way out of his way to spike a guy in the knee, or intentinally flipping his bat around when he strikes out (trying to hit the catcher)? Aparently there has been SOME discipline, but not enough for him to change. At least this time, instant Karma showed up.
