I know you're probably looking for something else, but I've used uship.com several times with great results, and you can weed through any carriers that don't appeal to you for some reason or other. Transporting a non-running vehicle isn't done by everyone, so your options might be limited.
Can't wait to see the next project.

Here's another thought. A guy purchase a 1939 Willys coupe from me. He lives in the Seattle area. He flew into Tucson. Rented a Ryder box truck & took it home himself. He had to use a flatbed tow service twice. Once to put it in the truck & the other to remove it.
I've used Reliable for inop cars in the past myself. I know you didn't want to use the 18 wheelers but you might get a quote for comparison...Joe
