I think it speaks volumes that the owner/claim maker who is a member of this site has remained silent (still don't know his user name). There are plenty of members on this site with a wealth of information that they've researched /collected for 30 plus years willing to share to correct the misinformation in the videos only to have it deleted. To publish inaccurate information, and not correct the record when called out on it is inexcusable.

Further, if Patrick wouldn't have circled his wagons on this one, and instead asked some pertinent questions, he would have learned precisely what to look for in the documentation regarding a '69 Nova that was initially intended for a conversion - but wasn't. Like, an order form for a converted Nova (no VIN because it wasn't built yet, but the orig purchaser's name...) perhaps the notation where the original short block was to be credited against the purchase price... This isn't the first time we've heard this mantra!!
