I think that is a short pump, I would assume he needs a long pump.

I am not sure the one listed in the sYc ad (2nd one below) nor this one immediately below, that I found on fleabay recently, gives me the attachment points for the alternator let alone long vs short pump. Third one below is on my Chevelle now. What do you guys think?

Edit: added photo of my stock pump hanging off the front of the engine - you can see that the two aluminum pumps shown below do not have the bolt holes to accommodate the alternator.
