When I was young my father and I would get up early go have breakfast and either cruise the back country roads looking for old iron or hit the salvage yards to see the cool old iron. Good Times! Thanks for posting

Default Days past

In the early 70's junk yards in my area sold engines at one dollar a horsepower. A 69 Z engine-$290.00, Hemi's were $425.00. Nowadays Most yards in my area will not let you go back and look around.
