We trialed 36 Degrees timing, and then 2 Up, 2 Down.
The engine liked 34 best:-) The dyno runs were from 2600 to 5400 rpm. The engine made over 340 Lb-Ft from 2600 to 4600, 380 Lb-Ft max at 3500. The engine made over 200 Hp at 3000 and rose incrementally all the way to 325 Hp at 5300. This engine is going to be fun!!! Ryan

325hp, right what they were listed at I assume this is v1.0 F.A.S.T. W-31 then? I can't recall was this stock rods or a stroker setup with 6.2" chevy rods? how come you only went to 5400rpm? she'll take a lot more you know. My vin matching build with stock rods and those heavy TRW slugs would routinely go 6200.

Stock stroke, 3.385”
Scat H Beam rods PSMCDR W31 V1.0 (Mascar has plans to build W31 V2.0 after MCACN) The Horsepower seemed to have peaked by 5400 rpms so FJ set it to stop at 5400. I wish we went higher just to prove no more was to gain. I expect the engine could rpm higher but seems no benefit, if my trans and rear gears make the most use of the power band. Ryan
