Hey, that's great to hear... I hope he's keen!
Over the past decade, I've worked with my oldest nephew to fix up a Garnet Red 1969 Camaro survivor (that I originally had my own plans for); my second oldest nephew and I are working on another Garnet Red 1969 Camaro; now my third and youngest nephew has taken a keen interest in my black 1969 Chevelle so we're looking for a 1968 or 1969 Malibu candidate... and I'm really hoping that my son eventually takes an interest in a project too. My original deal was, and still is... get an education beyond high school and I'll financially step up to buy them and help them fix up a "basic" musclecar. I never expected it would catch on like this with the others, but so far it's meant a LOT of late nights in the garage ordering pizza and getting to know my nephews (priceless), like I otherwise may not have? I'll keep my eyes peeled for ya! Hope to see you on the road sometime somewhere... |
