Original 69 Z28,s used 2 types of trim rings. 1st design used inner spring serrations to attach the ring. They went the full circumference of the ring. It is still available from GM, but is expensive. part # 9796696. It is 2" wide. It has a oblong type hole around the stem, with squared off corners. Originals used a black serration and the current avaiiable rings have a galvanized serration ring.

Later 2nd design types #3901708 used the 4 outer clips to retain them, the clips attached rite on the lip of the wheel, and they were slightly wider also 2&1/2". They had oval holes by the stems. They are a pain to get on and off and also sometimes the non moveable clips got in the way of the wheel balance weights. There are 2 different versions of this ring, the difference is a inner galvanized ring crimped into the ring to support it. 1st design has a flat ring and the later design had the ring with a lip.
