Yep, great memories, back when you had class racing and NHRA eliminators at your local track and not an 99.9% automatic transmission-dominated, low-rpm (compared to class cars), lackluster, class-less form of drag racing, i.e., bracket racing, a term that wasn't yet in anyone's vocabulary unless you lived on the West Coast.
