I know this an old post (sorry for being so late to the game)... the car is still out there and I'm interested, I mean the components seem to be good (and documentation to go with it, although it's difficult to tell if that was really the receipts used by yenko and Jenkins). I agree that it is odd someone would go to the trouble in 1982 to get the car modified by don and grumpy- timeline seems wonky. I'm curious how the true yenko community sees the value on the car- is it simply an L-78 + can am engine value (70k?) or is there value in the paperwork that was presented?
As a car, it's super cool. But it do t want to pay up on it if it is an "illegitimate" or undocumented or unrecognized (by the peer group here) yenko Nova. I will suspect if it has been for sale for ~3 years all of you have passed on it for a reason? |
