... So it bid up to $185,000 at auction and they did NOT sell it.....

.... and now offering at $175,000 ?????

If it was a reserve auction the auction house will typically bid it up close to the reserve. Auction houses disclose that. Apparently his reserve was above that at the time but now he is lowering the price trying to find a buyer.
