On or off a rotisserie getting the interior out, #1 protects it from all the debris, and #2 it would lighten it up if you do use a rotisserie. On another note, when you get close to painting the floors, resist the urge to use filler on any pitted areas, to hard to sand ! After you are sealed up with epoxy primer go stright to some spray on polyester primer, builds qouck and sands like butter. Mike
