I have internal engineering documents dated Feb 29, 1968 showing the following aluminum 427's equipped with sleeves:
19950-17-A (first development engine, installed in Corvette 78027 for F.I. development) 19950-17-J (Laguna Seca race and Riverside Practice, #3, #4, #6 resleeved and machined) 19950-17-K (ran LeMans for 14 hrs, approx 1000 miles, showed gasket burning on #1 cyl) Not sure how these numbers correspond to the ones listed above, but I believe these were development blocks.
