Default Re: 69 RS/Z28 Garnet Red Survivor !

Re 'finger style trims': My 09C Z28 came with the 4 clip trims originally, but in the late 70's, after purchase of a new 1977 Monte Carlo, I 'swapped' the trims between the two cars (because the '69 trims had a few dents ... so my original wheels also have scratches from the finger style trims. Fortunately, before selling the MC, I swapped the trims back... with the great proliferation of Monte Carlos throughout the '70's, I suspect I was not the only Z28 owner who did that.

Does the 'possibly original' spare tire have a date code on it? re dates, doesn't that 12/17/68 YH wheel correspond to the *earliest* YH we have seen??
