One of those not for sure things. I would not think the air, as the fist pass was at 1=ish and it only got warmer after that, air temp and drivetrain temp. The difference was in my 60'. Went from 1.58 to 1.50. They do not prep the track after we start running and there are several street cars which will negate any rubber the slick guys put down. I am wondering if a combination of the motor/trans getting broke in and me getting comfortable with the launch and hitting the ideal shift point. Need to take it to a good, well prepped track and see how it does. Right after I got it we went to Sikeston, a very well prepped track and ran a 6.66, but nothing close since. We thought maybe one of fluke things, maybe a timing error of something. Who knows. As they say, if it were easy, everyone would be doing it. Sure is fun trying though.
