Things are different now from what it was in the past. It's a mix. There are those that come here from other countries legally and want to be American. Then there those that come here illegally and rape the system. That includes those that come here and don't want to be American. They want to be whatever they are, except in America. They don't want to be part of the system, they just want everything it has to offer. My Great-Grandfather came to the United States because of the threat of extermination. That was around 1914-15 through Ellis Island. He and his family wanted to be American and did everything they could to be that way. On his tombstone it says &quot;America is Heaven&quot;. I remember the phrase &quot;Love It Or Leave It&quot;. I still agree with that.
