All the type font and option code details are important...glad to see there are folks who can help with this stuff...thanks for the info.

But, you don't need to be an authenticity expert on this car...all you need to know is that GM didn't put the TH400 behind the high horse solid lifter big blocks until the 50 Gibb COPO Novas were produced in 1968. Whoever did this window sticker was a Bozo...

Now, on the other hand..if you would like to see a real 1966 L72 Imapla Convertible we have one in the neighborhood...it is very cool!

I'm not sure it qualifies as a true survivor..one repaint...original interior. Real deal, M-21 car...very cool. I've never seen another one

Wow !! sorry to continue hijacking this post, but I love this car !!! ...I wonder if someone ordered the car??
did it have hubcaps original? Any back story??
Luv the orange valve covers !!

My roomate at college had the 'almost' twin
super sport !! Same color and two-tone interior... only difference it was a 6 cylinder car !! I never thought it was original with the 6 cylinder, but he swore it was his Mom's car originally and it came that way !! I drove it a few times, It was tough to get out of it's own way, but even worse to stop !!

I'll bet this vert gets out of it's own way !!!
