The gold ones are aluminum , and seems to me started leaking after removeing a few times , I had a few sets & painted them black ....

Yep -- pretty flimsy and they leak. Bought a set and put them on a BBC (street driven) and took them off after about a month ... trick for competition, but not an everyday car ... Just sayin' TAZ [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/no.gif[/img]

I've ran aluminum moroso's on the street for over 30 years if installed properly no leaks at all! Just saying

Sometimes ya' just have to be lucky -- I stand by what I said ... they are made super thin and designed for comp. Short trips on the street here and there may work fine. Even used Moroso's reinforcements with top of the line gaskets, nick-um-pucky, glue, Hi-Tack, etc. and they still leaked. TAZ [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/no.gif[/img]
