A condition of the sale should include delivery by the Canadian owner or their rep
to a point on the US side of the border - that way you know the car can be imported. If the Seller balks at that - walk away ... You don't want to buy a car that can't be imported & turn around to have to sell it at a loss in Canada ... Generally it is best to buy a vehicle with final assembly in the states that was imported into Canada & has a paper trail to prove it .... Jim
