Blue was rarer. I think the average color split for 1970 to '72 T/As was around 1/3 of production painted blue and the other 2/3 were white.

Pretty but uncommon colors often bring more. Same holds true for Wimbledon White 69 and Grabber Blue 70 Boss 429s which are the highest production and leave some collectors cold or make them very choosy about condition. My $0.02
