yes the guy I bought the car off said it uncommon with the M22, the car is originally burnished brown too, there is still the original paint under the trunk lid.

1969 Nova production shows 682 units with an M22 and all were L78 engines.

I presently own one of those 682 M22 Novas. I am a former Manitoban and worked at Keystone Dragways during the 60s and 70s. There were a few L78 Novas that ran at the strip.
