Firewall plate says '69 427' Hmmm.

The 427 on the trim tag does not mean it's a 427 engine, nor in the VIN. It show in the VIN that it's a V8. If the VIN shows 327,it's a 6cyl, 227 shows a 4cyl.
The trim tag on the firewall will always show 427. You need to look at the VIN to see what it was born with. No numbers will show cubic inch displacement. |

Blew up the pic. Now I see that's not a full L88 hood. Would like to find a full hood. Bottom line. It's not a factory 427. Maybe an SS. Not worth the price. JMHO.
