I remember sneaking those winter rides from when I lived in Chicago and Wisconsin, then I got to Austin in the early 80's and now I look forward to the winters. I slid off of Hwy I94 many times in my old Corvette driving from Eau Claire to Chicago in the winter.

There is nothing like after a long winter to get in a muscle car radio off, windows down and listen to the sound of the engine and exhaust.
